Many thanks to Ted Dimon for organizing such a wonderful Christmas luncheon for us Kiwanians and extra thanks for ordering such a beautiful day here in the desert.
Following Herb Hayde’s invocation and Ray Arnold leading us in God Bless America, President Dave Bell recognized some of our guests, including: Roseann Dobson, Executive Director - Southwest District; Dottie Gross, president of Desert Foothills Women’s Club, and her husband Pete, who co-sponsored the Kiwanis Big Band Dance; Susan White, our club’s “accountant;” and a very special and warm welcome to Jean Ingerbitzen, whose family’s foundation has blessed Kiwanis Club of Carefree with over $165,000 during the past 11 years.
President Dave also let everyone know that Senator Jon Kyl is scheduled to be our guest speaker next Wednesday, December 17th. He asked that since it was such short notice, to please pass the word around to those not attending today’s luncheon.

With all business out of the way, we were able to enjoy great company, a delicious lunch, and the harmonic voices of The Upscale Singers led by Ms. Margaret Watson.
