FLEA MARKET MEMORIAL ROCKETSHIP:
Ray Arnold's grandson visited Arizona last week and enlisted Grandpa to help him build a rocketship, with a little assist from the Flea Market, who provided a few empty cardboard cartons. The result is shown with Ray and Kirk Wilson, Chairman of the Flea Market Committee. The Flea Market Memorial Rocketship was on display throughout the lunch hour at Harold's.
Ray called it "an entry in the 4-year-old Division of the Kiwanis Science Fair."
The notes from the project, by Grayson Wycliffe Storer, age 4, show:
Concept: Can I build a rocket ship out of cardboard that will go to the Moon?
Conclusion: No."
